Rick Maeda

Rick is a Research Associate at Presto and is interested in how & why people think the way they do, which has driven his love for crypto. Rick enjoys viewing crypto from a macro lens, as well as thinking about concepts from a first principals basis. He is currently based in Tokyo but has lived in HK, Singapore, Sydney, New York, and London. Rick started his career trading interest rate derivatives at JP Morgan in NY, then co-founded Orca Global, a Singapore-based multi-strategy digital assets fund. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from New York University.
