A third-party Gnosis Safe module named “SquidRouterModule” was exploited across Ethereum and Base, draining roughly $3.2 million from 86 Safes after attackers abused a flawed security check to execute arbitrary transactions. Squid said the vulnerable contract was not built or deployed by its team and that its core protocol and router were unaffected.
